By creating an account or using MediProfile, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Description
MediProfile provides a platform that allows users to create emergency medical profiles that may be accessed through QR codes and related emergency access methods.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Keeping your information up to date
- Maintaining account security
- Ensuring emergency contact information is accurate
4. Emergency Access
MediProfile is designed to make selected information available to individuals who scan your QR code.
You acknowledge that:
- Information may be viewed by third parties
- QR codes may be scanned by authorised or unauthorised individuals
- MediProfile cannot guarantee who accesses information once a QR code is displayed publicly
5. Medical Disclaimer
MediProfile is not:
- A healthcare provider
- An emergency service
- An electronic health record system
- A provider of medical advice
Information stored within MediProfile is supplied by users and is not independently verified.
Healthcare professionals should rely upon their own clinical judgement and official medical records where appropriate.
6. No Guarantee of Availability
While we aim to provide a reliable service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Users should not rely solely on MediProfile in emergency situations.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediProfile shall not be liable for:
- Inaccurate user-provided information
- Decisions made by healthcare professionals
- Failure of third parties to access information
- Delays, outages or service interruptions
- Any indirect or consequential loss
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
8. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.
Users may cancel their subscription at any time.
Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are non-refundable.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
Users may delete their account at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MediProfile constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
